This is my 4th year teaching at Waitfield Elementary. I returned to the classroom during COVID after raising my own daughters, who are now all in college or beyond.

        I work to create a vibrant, welcoming and curious learning community. Academically, we try to integrate subjects, writing and reading across social studies and science for example. In all subjects we incorporate hands on activites, complementary online learning tools, and opportunities to demonstrate learning in many ways -- from reports to videos to models, for example. We’ll often play games and solve puzzles to practice different ways to work together, practice logical and strategic thinking, and have fun.
