Grade 3&4 - Elizabeth Belknap

Throughout my twenty-five years of teaching, I have taught grades PK-5. My years of experience have given me a solid understanding of child development and learning. I've learned how important it is to meet children where they are developmentally and teach to the heart.

At the beginning of each school year, we spend building trust and making connections. Classroom expectations are modeled and practiced following the Responsive Classroom approach. Relationships are built on mutual respect and serve as the backbone of our classroom community.

Typical Schedule

Monday-Friday: Fench, art, music on
                           alternating weeks
Monday & Tuesday: physical education

Please have your child read 20-30 minutes nightly. It is best to keep this routine over the weekend as well. If you need help choosing books please let me know!
